The Animatrix show animated short movies from differtent people. It is all based on the movie-series The Matrix, but some took that more literally than others. I have seen my fair share of animation (mostly American and Asian), so I was really looking forward to see this one.

There is only one short that really got my attention. It has a certain quietness and silence about it that reminds me of animated full movies like Spirited Away. The remote distance from being here, but not participating. This particular clip is about some kids playing outside. They found, for that moment at that place, a no-gravity point. And that's what they do. They play.

To me, I wish more project like Animatrix would've come out. Maybe also related to other themes. I think the whole Inception-concept can really apply for this. For those of you out her whom like to brows and change channels, maybe watching Animatrix could keep you company while eating pizza or soup. You won't regret it.
