7.0 · Robofighting
When watching a movie with Hugh Jackman, I always prepare for instant spontanious singing and musical dance. Yes, it's tiring to always keep my guard up. When watching kids in movies, I always keep my rope ready. You know, since then can suck the will to live out of you.

In Real Steel I got pleasantly surprised. I love robotfighting. Sorry, I did not stress that enough. I. Love. Robot. Fighting. This kid obviously has a talent and the dad obviously should be drinking beers in bars and get reject after reject. But somehow, these two kind of work. They managed to keep the emotional bullshit low and have the action ready. It's fun.

I love the kid's first robotfight in the outdoors. But I L-ove the first round of the robotfight towards the end of the movie. It got me at the tip of my seat. I was actually screaming at the screen. My real-men-kinda friends held their breath for a while. Even though this movie is not so great, it does not really stand out and I have to keep looking on the internet for the title, it was fun watching. We actually ate our take-out in the dark so we could see the screen.
