An indie drama that tells the story of Abraham, a 12-year-old boy with a passion for cooking who has never known a family dinner without arguments. The son of a mixed marriage between a Jewish mother and Islamic father, Abe aspires to unify his family by cooking a dinner. He learns how to cook with Chico, a Brazilian chef, who cooks acarajé in multi-cultural pop-up restaurants around Brooklyn.
